Several additives are in the wax to reduce friction in wet and dry conditions, as well as increased durability. Great on it's own on a clean ski, or as a coat on top of SG waxes. Apply evenly via the sponge dabber on the bottle, let dry for as long as possible (at least 15 minutes), then brush out with a soft nylon. An added step for improved durability would be to cork or felt the liquid in before nylon brushing.
